Best Indian Restaurant in Paisley? Vegan Food from Indian by Nature

Image
I am a huge fan of Indian food. So, I was curious to see if a restaurant with the slogan "Authentic Indian Cusine" would live up to my expectations. And what can I say? Indian by Nature in Paisley let me relive my travel to India and quickly became one of my favourites in the area. Atmosphere Hidden behind a small entrance, you enter the cosy and beautiful restaurant. The paintings on the walls and the background music both significantly enhance the ambiance. While not overly fancy, Indian by Nature stands out for its welcoming and informal atmosphere, making it a great place to gather with loved ones for lunch or dinner. Menu and food Indian by Nature impresses with great quality food. The spices and aromas are perfectly balanced: A journey through Taste-land!   No wonder they hold the award for the best curry in Scotland. Pendulum Paisley - Classy Dining Experience with Vegan Menu

My next stop took me to Pendulum Bar & Grill. Located in the heart of Paisley. The restaurant combines a chic ambience with a delicious selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, making it a special dining experience. Atmosphere The ambience at Pendulum is both elegant and cosy. As soon as you enter, you notice a calm and warm lighting. Combined with the beautiful, open in-house bar and luxurious interior, this adds to a unique, modern lounge experience.  It is perfect for everything from a nice meal with family and friends to formal business meetings. A clear highlight of the restaurant is the glass facade, which offers a great view of the breath-taking, historic Paisley Abbey while eating. Food and Menu The menu at Pendulum focuses on Scottish classics, but at the same time offers a modern twist. While Scottish cuisine is quite meat-heavy, I was very happy to see that there is a full vegan menu . Guests are offered an absolute treat in three courses. Although the menu i...

Okome Paisley: A Fusion of Korean and Japanese Cuisine

Image
I was very excited to try Okome in Paisley as I had travelled to Japan and Korea before and love their cuisine. The restaurant combines Korean and Japanese dishes, offering a unique fusion of flavours that will delight any foodie. Atmosphere When you walk into the restaurant, you feel as if you've stepped into a Japanese anime. The décor is sleek and modern, with Japanese paintings on the walls and an open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. The cozy, personal ambiance is beautifully enhanced by the low lighting provided by the lantern shades.  The restaurant was a little chilly, though, so if you tend to get cold, you might want to bring a jumper.

Who am I and why am I starting this food blog? My name is Can-Luca Spiegel, a 24-year-old food blogger from Germany who loves to discover new places and travel. I especially appreciate trying new cuisines because for me, the best way to immerse yourself in a culture is through food. Since 2022, however, I have been taking on a new challenge: I am actively reducing my meat consumption and started following a plant-based diet. In doing so, I have found that it can be difficult to find vegetarian or vegan food when travelling. This is where my blog comes into play. You see, I'm currently doing a semester abroad in Paisley, Scotland. Therefore, I want to dive into the local food scene and find the best vegetarian and ve...
